We’re the crew that shows up in Palmdale’s 110-degree summers and January windstorms when your attic is bleeding conditioned air into the Antelope Valley. Every one of us passed a background check, wears the same uniform, and carries a camera to document what we find. What unites us is simple: we seal first, then insulate, and we put the before-and-after blower-door number in writing so you know exactly what changed.

Wes Okafor, Owner
I’ve been running building-envelope jobs in the Antelope Valley since 2016, and I still climb into attics on first calls when the space is tight or the diagnosis is tricky. I’m certified in blower-door testing and thermal imaging, and I personally review every written scope before it goes out - Haven Standard Clause 1 means the price, the warranty, and the work order are locked before anyone touches a ladder. When I’m not on a roof in Quartz Hill or checking top-plate sealing in Rancho Vista, I’m usually restoring a ’72 Chevy Nova that runs about as hot as a Palmdale attic in August.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been installing insulation systems for twelve years, and he’s the person we send when a job has complex framing, multiple conditioned-attic conversions, or spray foam in a tight envelope. He’s SPF-certified through the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance and holds Owens Corning’s preferred installer credential. Marcus grew up in Lancaster, so he knows exactly why R-30 batts compressed into a 2×8 cavity in a 1983 Palmdale tract home are basically doing nothing - and he’ll show you the thermal image to prove it. Off the clock, he coaches a youth basketball team at Marie Kerr Park.
Diana R., Senior Installer
Diana runs our blown-in and radiant-barrier crews, and she’s particular about density - she checks bag counts against square footage on every job, because underfilled cellulose settles and creates voids that show up six months later as hot spots. She’s certified in Johns Manville blown-in systems and has completed Knauf’s air-sealing specialist training. Diana moved to Palmdale from Bakersfield in 2019 and immediately noticed the difference Mojave dust makes on attic air quality; she’s the reason we started including respirator-grade attic cleaning as a standard option. She keeps a small garden in her West Palmdale backyard that somehow survives the wind.
Javier L., Service Coordinator
Javier answers the phones and schedules the routes, but he’s also the person who pulls permit history for older Palmdale homes and flags when a property in the Anaverde development might have the poly vapor-barrier issues that batch had in 2015. He’s trained in home energy audit software and can walk you through what a blower-door reading of 3,500 CFM50 actually means for your SCE bill before a technician even drives out. Javier was born in Palmdale, graduated from Highland High, and still lives five minutes from the office - which is why he can sometimes squeeze in a same-day attic inspection when the schedule opens up.
Taylor K., Apprentice Installer
Taylor joined us in 2023 after two years in residential HVAC and quickly picked up the sequencing we use: seal, test, insulate, test again. They’re working toward their BPI Building Analyst certification and already handle most of our insulation removal and replacement jobs in Palmdale’s older neighborhoods, where we find deteriorated R-11 batts and rodent damage more often than you’d think. Taylor drives a white service van with 187,000 miles on it and refuses to replace it until it hits 200. They’re usually the one crawling through the hatch in a Lake Los Angeles crawl space while the rest of us are grateful for the assignment.
